Term 1 Week 7_My Exams + CA Marking Week

Finally! My last second paper is over! Can't wait for 8th April - my final day of lecture and final paper due - the final day after the three and half years - after that no more night classes ever! no more travelling to NTU weekly! No more doing assignments! No more reading thick thick not-english-kind-of-readings! No more exams! Finally a weekend where I can really enjoy without studying!

It has been soooooo long! Sometimes I wonder how I survived these three years of masters class on top of all my teaching load cum cca commitment cum senior teacher duties cum geog coordinating stuff. But I am really really glad it is coming to an end. Arrgghh!!! Can't wait! Counting days already!

Thank you to my class and 3E2 for your good luck wishes! Heh heh..... I need one more on the 8th April okay?

My4E5, wanna go to Esplanade to take my graduation photo with me??? hahahaha... We make it our class outing??? Interested??

CA Marking this week - alot of students have been 'feedbacking' to me that they are worried about not doing well for the test this time. Main complaint was that there was inadequate time. Well, nonetheless, I am still glad because I rather they did not have enough time to complete then to have written nothing at all!!! Also, I am happy to see that they are worried about it (No, I am not a sadist :p ) I am pleased to see that they are concerned enough about their studies to be worried about it. :) I can't help those who do not want to be helped right?

To all my geography students who are reading this....If you have really studied hard but didn't score well this time, especially due to time management, please don't be sad.

With more practice, your time management will improve, your skills at tackling the questions will also improve.... as long as you don't give up and continue putting effort to improve and also to follow my instructions on skills and techniques in answering, you will improve.

If you didn't do well in this test, don't let it get to you, instead, examine your answers and listen to my answer analysis and understand where are your weaknesses then make sure you try to improve on them and not make the same mistakes the next time.

Take one step at the time.....take small steps to improve your grades, if you score 10 marks now, next piece of test or assignment, you aim for 12..... then 14..... then 16.....

Remember....Slow and steady win the race

With determination, there is nothing you can't overcome!
