My nieces and nephews think I am a gum tree

Last Sunday was my family 'annual' relatives gathering gathering for the CNY. Of course, I was looking forward to my 'date' with those 10 nieces and nephews of mine (my cousin's).

Every CNY, my room would resemble a zoo! This year was no different. It was really chaotic with the younger children running around, talking at the top of their voices, the older ones playing with my computer, the 'middle' older ones with UNO, jumping on my bed, attempting to ride my exercise bike, rearranging my hair (??!!) ...... (list is endless!)

but hey, nevertheless, they were really fun to be with :)

It was also then that I suspected that one of my nieces thinks I am a gum tree ...... :P

You know koalas? When you carry them, they think you are a gum tree and attached themselves to you really tight!!!!

One of them, aged 5 or 6 (not sure), must really thought that I was gum tree. There was a fondness for her to attach herself to me like a koala and get really comfortable just climbing on to me (even when I am walking) and being 'brought' along as I went about chatting with her older cousins. (I don't even need to carry her! like a koala, she just climb up and hang on like one! haha...)

Hmmm... come to think of it, I think all of the younger ones must have agreed with her! Maybe that was why at the end of the whole gathering, I was suffering from aches all over, just by being 'attached' by all of them! hahaha.....

Some of my nieces and nephews are growing up to be really hamsome and pretty gentlemen and ladies :) I couldn't believe that 3 are already in Secondary School! Wow! time flies..... What happened to those cute babies I used to carry????? hahaha....

Study hard my little ones and hope those 2 pretty ladies who are having their PSLE this year will get into their dream Secondary Schools okay?
