Sleepless in Singapore

My insomnia bout this time is worse than before. Previously my best record was 6 days and thats during examination marking period but this time, it has been more than a week! Sleepless nights....@-@ I don't even dare to stare into the mirror at my dark eye circles. I think I will most likely to be slightly cuter than the panda! Just now a colleague commented I seemed more tanned lately -.- Thats not tanned!!!! - thats my dark panda eyes! Arrgghhhh....

Was looking at a email sent by an ex student who commented that I am FOREVER in Bowen and whether I am thinking of transfering to another school or to the ministry. Interestingly, I have also been toying with the thoughts during my latest sleepless nights. Then yesterday someone offered me an opportunity.... But I doubt I will go :) I still like teaching kids and I think that my colleagues are the best I have ever worked with :) Hmmmm....but am really tempted.... haha....

I have just started Malay Language lessons at a CC because I wanted to
1) learn to bargain in Malay so that I can go shopping in KL.
2) talk to Malay parents during Meet Parent Sessions.
3) have bigger portions of food from Uncle Richman (canteen uncle) when I order in Malay.

The class has 8 students only. Its rather refreshing to be a student rather than a teacher once again, though I don't really think the teacher can teach well as I find some of the sentences taught were rather strange :)

Eg. Where is John? John dimana? Ans: John is on the chair. John di atas kerusi. (Erm...thats like John is on top of a chair....don't you need to say that John is SITTING on a chair? John is not a thing, he is human????!!! - can any of my malay friends or kids explain this?)

To all my present students, Exams around the corner :) Start studying soon... Try to set aside at least one hour of revision during the weekdays and longer hours in the weekends for your revision okay? Less TV, computer games, MSN, PSP, SMS whatever... Must prioritise!
