This whole week has been a hectic one for me due to chinese new year preparations and also the printing of the CA papers. This time I am in charge of setting, vetting and printing all the sec 4 papers as well as the sec 3 pure one. Well, I think the papers would be a slight challenge for them and I hope that they will give their very best and apply all the answering techniques I taught in class. Good Luck Everyone!
CONGRATS to MyE5s for their win in the CNY Classroom Deco!!!! YAY!!!! (I haven't had the chance to take pictures of it to post here, I will do it ASAP :) ) Prior to the results announcement, I was actually quite apprehensive - what if they couldn't win the competition?? I knew that they had put in alot of effort and had high expectations. In any competitions, there are winners and losers and I didn't want them to be too disappointed. In fact, I am very proud of their efforts and it is, in my opinion, it was the best best decorated classroom in the school! A teacher who taught them came up to me and told me that she expected them to get the first place! hahas... Well, it is, as I told them (even if it offended those of you I taught before :p) the best decorated classroom in all my years in Bowen or even elsewhere! THAT to me, is a Winner already!
The school's this year CNY concert was good! One of the best I have seen! And (not that I am biased) my favourite segments all have my students in them too! COOL!
1. The Dance Club very cool dance! Fast, very well coordinated and choreographed :) (Yay for Keyin... Did I see Anzoe and Crystal???!!! ....The boys segment together with the girls' ...I was so impressed that I forgot to clap! Woo hoo!!!)
2. Ah Dom's segment in the Wushu performance! (That red! Waahhhh!!!! Wayyyy cool! I want an autograph!)
3. The Band performance...especially the second segment...after Jamal's... that other conductor's... the one with the percussion piece...Impressive!!!!!! (Nigel, you there??!!! Wow!)
4. The Bowen 'Stars' singing segments, especially Stephanie Sun's song (Check out all the boy's expression in the hall! hahas...)
5. The Bowen Chorale 'colourful' segment which showed me a fun side of the usually shy 'singers' of the 'yesteryears' (Mrs N was so proud of you people that she was practically beaming away!)
6. Lastly, the sight of my class enjoying themselves by waving and clapping away in support of the performances (the teachers seated next to me was commenting 'like teacher like students - so high!' heh heh)
This CNY holidays, I spent the time being sick! Sigh! My flu just gotten worse instead of better. On saturday, met up with my best friend as well as my dear friend who came back from Aussie for a show at Bishan (that alien pet one). 
Before the show, I was so sick that I had to buy a jacket from Baleno, wore it like Jay Chou with the cape on during the show cause it was sooooo cold! Brrrr..... (Jacket - Festive or not???) My friend, Lean was seated next to me and throughout the whole show I must have been distracting her! hee.... (Hey Lean, I gave you a fright when you turn and see a different size 'Jay Chou' blowing her nose???? hahahahaha....) 
The night before CNY I did last minute spring cleaning when suddenly it occurred to me that I have alot of cows in my room! I decided to put them all together for a group photo and upload it here since someone in my class commented that my blog has got nothing to see??!! hee hee...
